To provide up-to-date information on study in Australia for international study agents and educational institutions, Study in Australia and the Australian embassy is hosting three seminars, the first in Osaka in March, followed by Fukuoka and Tokyo in May.
Studying in Australia offers a number of advantages for career-oriented students, including Australian working visas while studying, and after completing university study. With the growing demand for workers with global skill sets, Japanese companies are have been steadily increasing their recruitment activities in Australia. In addition, the seminars will introduce the many advantages of studying in Australia that directly answer the question “Why should we choose to study in Australia?” including the safe environment, pro-Japanese attitudes, integration of Asian culture, and the high level of education.
A panel discussion by state governments officers will expand on the unique advantages and appeal that each state offers. In the Tokyo seminar, staff from the embassy Visa section will explain about student and other categories of visas, and the latest information on for visa applications.
Feedback from last year’s workshops was very positive, with comments like ‘I had the opportunity to understand about Australia’ and ‘now I know how to go about recommending Australia to prospective students.’
For study abroad agents and university international study personnel, the seminars provide the opportunity to exchange information with Embassy or Consulate staff, state governments, Australian Tourism Board (Osaka only), as well as to network with each other. We look forward to seeing you at the most convenient seminar.
