!The Event Date Change!2022 Indian Ocean Defence and Security Conference, 25 and 26 August in Perth

The event date for below has been changed to 25 and 26 August 2022.

The other details including the venue have not been changed, you can attend the conference in person and online.

The Indian Ocean Defence and Security conference will be held at Perth Optus Stadium from Thursday 25h – Friday 26th August 2022, and will provide you a front row seat to discussions on future opportunities for Defence, the Defence industry and aligned research areas in the Indo-Pacific region.

You can attend the conference both in person and online.

Defence West is delivering the event in partnership with Perth USAsia Centre and the University of Western Australia’s Defence and Security Institute.

The Western Australian Government, through Defence West, is committed to growing our defence industry and ensuring the state harnesses its competitive advantages to maximise business opportunities and create more local jobs in the sector.

The program includes the Panel Discussion on AUKUS, QUAD, Japanese RAA: Implication of Strategic Relationships for the Indian Ocean and more. And the keynote speakers are a minister and key persons in Western Australia Defence industry if named a few, Hon Paul Papalia, CSC, MLA, Minister for Defence Industry, WA and Mike Deeks, CSC from Blue Ocean Monitoring, WA and etc.
